Mobile phone experience will never be the same again in the Middle East. Research & Innovation Technologies (RIT) FZ LLC, a mobile technology player headquartered in the UAE today launched suite of next generation mobile applications.

 

RIT introduced two set of applications, one for the enterprise market and the other for last-mile customers. In the enterprise segment, RIT has introduced two game-changing products:  

 

• MobiView: Video surveillance on mobile handset
• Orbit Tracker: Multi level GPS tracker (for on-the-ground employee movements)

 

In the consumer segment, RIT has introduced four cutting-edge trend-setting products: 

 

• Orbit Record: Two-way voice recorder plus Dictaphone
• Orbit Protect: Mobile data protection and mobile locator with advanced GPS
• Global Phone Backup: Phone book contacts, tasks and calendar backup and restore software
• Orbit PowerSMS: SMS Scheduler and customized SMS tone

 

RIT also announced that it has entered into exclusive sales & marketing agreement with UAE-based Techorbit to market the products throughout the Middle East region. Techorbit is a dynamic mobile phone, SIM card and wireless phone accessories retailer with 25 retail stores across the UAE. Through this association RIT is making foray in the Middle East market in a big way. The suite of applications will be sold under the umbrella brand ‘Orbit’.

1. MobiView

 

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) face the unique challenge of growth which is attached to tighter control on operations. For the last few years there were Close-Circuit TV camera options that gave bird’s eye view to SMEs.

 

MobiView takes a giant leap ahead by combining CCTV with wireless technology and for the first time offers CCTV on Mobile to SMEs. Multiple cameras will perform live-video streaming on mobile phone.
