Jafza based Royal Industries (Uttam Group Ltd.) has been appointed as worldwide distributor for “The Taste of Thai” branded Thai rice by the Public Warehouse Organisation (PWO), a state enterprise under the Ministry of Commerce, Thailand, set up to carry out all activities related to rice, agricultural and other products to ensure that their quantity, quality, and price are appropriate to the public.

Royal Industries has established its global distribution hub for the premium Thai rice in Jafza, which was formally inaugurated recently.

The inauguration was attended by Salma Hareb, CEO of Economic Zones World, Pat McGillycuddy, COO- Economic Zones World (EZW), Shehab S. Al Mesmar, SVP, Commercial Sales, EZW-UAE Region, HE Pasan Teparak, Consul General of the Kingdom of Thailand, Director General, Department of Export Promotion, Thailand, President, PWO and senior officials from Thailand.

Commenting on the opening of the facility, Shehab Al Mesmar, Senior Vice President, Commercial Sales, EZW-UAE Region said: “We are very pleased to play host to a distribution hub for such a recognized and quality Thai product.
