Netcom Africa Signs Deal with SES WORLD SKIES to Expand Broadcast Television and Telecom Services across Nigeria

ASTRA 2B and NSS-10 tapped to deliver everything from broadband and VoIP to digital TV

Meeting the escalating demand for content and connectivity across Africa, SES WORLD SKIES, a division of SES S.A. (Paris:SESG)(LUxX:SESG), today announced that Netcom Africa has signed a multi-year deal to expand its delivery of telecom and broadcast television services throughout Nigeria and West Africa.

Under the latest in a series of agreements between the two companies, Netcom will augment its existing capacity utilizing multi transponders on Ku-band; this will enable Netcom to meet rising demand for its broad range of telecom and broadcast television services among businesses, universities and consumers in cities and towns across the West African nation of Nigeria and beyond.
